JK Scholarship 2026-27: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is providing a scholarship scheme for financially weak students. Through the scholarship scheme, eligible students will receive a cash amount (depend on the student class and qualification) directly into their bank accounts. The amount can be used to purchase new books, pay college fees, admission to skill courses & more. Eligible students shall apply through the official website at https://myscheme.gov.in. The link to submit online application is active on June, 01 2026 & will remain open till October 2026. Interested applicants must ensure that their annual family income shall be less than 8 lakh. The minimum qualification required to apply online is Class 12th, although degree holders are also eligible (terms & conditions apply). PMSSS Eligibility

PMSSS (Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme) for the 2026-27 academic year, candidates must hold a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh. Applicants must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board, and their family’s annual income should not exceed ₹8 lakh. Candidates are required to register online on the PMSSS portal and submit documents such as a domicile certificate, income certificate, Aadhaar card, and educational records. Participation in the AICTE counseling and document verification process is also mandatory to avail of the scholarship. Additionally, possessing an EWS certificate, a labor card, or similar documentation may entitle you to a higher scholarship amount.

PMSSS Registration Date 2026

The Registration process for PMSSS 2026-27 is Started from 1/June/2026. The online application process may continue from May to July. Document verification will conducted between June and August, while counselling and choice filling may take place from August to September. The final application deadline and complete schedule will be announced through the official AICTE notification.
